     From the Heart summer dance group has been hard at work preparing for our upcoming community service performances.  They will be doing pieces in Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical and Disco Jazz.  The music ranges from classics like Stevie Wonder's "Superstitious" and Elton John's "Candle in the Wind"; to old favorites "Rock the Casbah" and "Love Shack"; and newer works "Black and Gold" and "My Immortal".  As always, an ecclectic mix to appeal to everyone!

     Our car wash sponsored by Campus Auto in Amherst was a success, raising an additional $182 to our costume fund.  Thank you to all who came out and supported us on that beautiful day!  You can see our costumes at our upcoming performances:

• Saturday August 29, 2009: Cummington Fair Grounds 3:00 - 4:30 PM
• Saturday September 5, 2009: Three County Fair Grounds 12:00 - 1:30 PM
• Sunday September 6, 2009: Three County Fair Grounds 12:00 - 1:30 PM
• Sunday November 1, 2009: Just For Kicks, Northampton Center for the Arts 2PM

More performances coming up at the VA Hospital in Leeds, Northampton Nursing Home and Rockridge Nursing Home.....
